Assists

You can call an assist from your assist character by pressing the assist button, each assist's assist uses a different assist move from the assist character's moveset. Assist's can be of great assistance, assisting in your assist's assist assist assist assist

Assist's are generally a super powered multi hit version of one of the assist character's regular moves. They do really good damage and are hard to punish, so spamming them can be a valid strategy in low level play.

Tagging

You can tag in your assist character by pressing the tag button. Your previous character will stand in place for a moment before jumping away.
